When the Digit4ll pathway students went to Chicago/Ridgewood last year, NBC and Ridgewood students worked together creating a range of ideas for a helpful app. This year, Mr Lyons and Mr Bright reunited with Mickey (Ridgewood student). Mickey, alongside Lee from NBC, created the winning app ‘Keeping Me Safe’. This app has been used for the multiple Disney trips across NBS and HWA, as well as this year’s Chicago Trip. Today’s sport focus was track and field. Firstly, an overview of the different track and field event were explored and discussed…
After the session, we decided to recap baseball and cricket and enjoyed a competitive game/match of each…
After cricket and baseball, we tested our track and field capabilities…
After the morning sessions, we were all ready for a tasty and nutritional lunch…
After lunch, the students shared concepts and thoughts in order to plan the end of the week’s sports event…
After the planning session, some students watched the Champions League football game, chilled out in the breakout rooms, participated in eSports or worked out in the gym…
After the match, we went back to the hotel to freshen up and then headed to ENTERRIUM for dinner and arcading…
