PSHE Update
Last Monday, the College had a special visitor called Nicole Renshaw, who is a nurse practitioner from CAHMS. Nicole did a fantastic workshop with Lumenus & Activ8 about mental health. After COVID-19 and countless lockdowns, everyone has struggled with mental health globally. Therefore, this workshop was very beneficial. Nicole spoke about mental health and the effects of mental health on children and young people. She spoke about all the different mental health conditions and the common conditions that people suffer from.
The workshop was very informative and all the young people thoroughly enjoyed it. Nicole opened the floor to questions and there were some fantastic questions asked by students. Nicole is going to be back at NBC to do the workshop for both the Digit4ll groups on the 1st March and we are looking forward to having her back.
