*** UPDATE MONDAY 23RD MARCH ***
Following our update on Friday, we successfully provided places today for a small number of vulnerable children and children whose parents are key workers.
Whilst we are fully committed to providing essential support for these children, we also want to play our part to reduce the spread of COVID-19. A key practice in achieving this is keeping pupil and student numbers as low as possible. This reduces the number of staff in school that are required to support your child and allows us to practise social distancing much more effectively. This means working with you, our families, to ensure that all possible alternatives for childcare have been exhausted, before turning to our school for support.
We are therefore hugely grateful to our families who are keeping their children at home, in our efforts to work together collaboratively to keep ourselves safe. We know that our Form Tutors have been working hard to ensure we assist you in the home education and care of your children and we will continue to offer this support and advice through our virtual school structure which we will develop further in the coming days and weeks.
In the meantime, we would like to thank you all again for your continued support.
Take care and stay safe,
Gavin, Dawn and Jaina
