As I mentioned in last week’s blog, we have been eagerly awaiting our Ofsted report following our inspection at the beginning of December. Well, this was the week that we finally received our official copy of the report and details of the outcome. It gives me great pleasure to announce to you all that New Bridge School continues to be ‘Outstanding’ making this our third consecutive ‘Outstanding’ judgement.
This result was only possible because of the passion, hard work, commitment and dedication of every one of our amazing staff team. It is everything they do, day in, day out, that makes New Bridge School an ‘Outstanding’ school. Without them, our children wouldn’t get such an incredible offer, achieve the outcomes that they do and love coming to school as much as they do. It makes me very proud to be part of such an outstanding team.
I’d also like to thank our parents for their contribution during the inspection; it was such a joy for the entire team to receive such overwhelmingly positive feedback about the education and care we provide for your children. I can’t overemphasise how much it means to us all, knowing how much you value the work that we do to create a meaningful future for your child.
You can read the report for yourself here, however, we’ve pulled out a few quotes we particularly like along with some beautiful photos we had taken last term of life around school. We hope you enjoy reading the report as much as we did.
Now for some more exciting news from our Lumenus pupils!
It’s Show Time again! Lumenus students are now preparing for the school production.
This week the students have participated in casting auditions. Lumenus staff have had the pleasure of watching the budding actors deliver some amazing auditions. Auditions involved students singing “Don’t Stop Me Now” and performing an extract from the script.
Here is how the students themselves think the auditions went..
The auditions have left the Lumenus staff with the very difficult job of casting the students. We all know, regardless of what part the students are given, they will put on an amazing show as usual. Well done and good luck to all our Lumenus students!!
I hope you have a good week,
Gavin
