I hope everyone has had a great Easter break and is ready for the term ahead. Personally I really enjoy the Summer term and the exciting events that come with it – sports days and events, celebrations of achievement, arts events..…the list could go on and on. We are busy working with our students ahead of their exams to ensure everyone is prepared and ready for the challenges ahead.

This week we‘ve got straight back into the swing of school. I met with Mr Wood at Medtia to look at the opportunities there for our young people, including some work placements and joint work when the Springboard Project opens.

We also had a surprise visit from Miss Cairns with her beautiful baby, Mikha. Miss Cairns has been on maternity leave since January and it was great for all our young people and staff to meet the newest arrival to the Spring Brook family..

Next week we have a really busy week lined up as usual, we just need the sun now to kick us into Summer.
