Mr Bright brings us another update on our Key Stage 5 IT pathway based at Medtia Square..
Another busy week in Digit4ll at Medtia Square! This week the IT pathway have been preparing for the ‘big sell’ at Christmas, planning their marketing strategy for selling personalised mugs, t-shirts and canvases. The students all have different roles within the New Bridge Printers enterprise, whether it be on the marketing team, the design team or the production team and they have all been very busy.
One of their tasks was to create Christmas themed posters to promote the products we create and sell. In Digit4ll we always involve everyone and allow them to vote for their favourite design..
This week they voted for 3 different posters to be used in the build-up to Christmas and here you can see the winning designs by Joshua..
..Matthew..
..and Jordan..
I’m sure you’ll agree they’re all great posters.
So, if you think a personalised mug, t-shirt or canvas would make a good Christmas present for someone you know this year, please get your orders in early to avoid disappointment (last year we struggled to cope with the late demand). If you have any queries regarding a printing job, please drop us an email to nbprinters@newbridgegroup.org or call us on 0161 883 2403.
Elsewhere on the IT pathway, our students have been working hard in the editing studio creating a range of different videos for different projects. Elliot and Joshua have nearly completed editing the promotional video for Digit4ll, Lewis and Sufyaan are helping create the Future Finders film and Luke has this week finished editing the Sports Day 2016 video..
This was a highlights film of the New Bridge Group Sports Day which took place during the last week of the summer term. Filmed and edited by the Digit4ll students as part of their New Bridge Productions enterprise, I’m sure you’ll agree it’s another very professional film to add to our show reel..
If you are interested in seeing some of the other films made by New Bridge Productions, check out their Vimeo page here. Please pass on our details (phone – 0161 883 2403 or email – nbproductions@newbridgegroup.org) to any businesses or agencies you know that might be interested in having a promotional video made. We specialise in filming shows and events, creating web videos as well as promotional videos of any kind.
