We are thrilled to introduce our new ‘SUPER SWIMMER’ award. This award is given in recognition of a pupil’s hard work, commitment and determination to succeed. It can also be awarded for being ‘super’ helpful to other pupils in the pool and putting in exceptional effort.
The recipient is presented with a certificate and wrist band to acknowledge their ‘super swimming’ achievement and their photo is prominently featured on our swimming display board in the corridor…..
After keeping everyone in suspense with our mystery photo frame of honour on the swimming board, we are now delighted to announce that our first ever SUPER SWIMMER is Kevin from Year 9! When he first joined us in April, Kevin had never been in a swimming pool. Through his huge efforts and willingness to try, he has managed to swim 25 metres with a woggle!
Kevin has never once said ‘I can’t’ – we know he will continue to be dedicated to learning to swim and we are very proud of what an incredible inspiration he is to all of his peers. Well done, Kevin!!!!
