A few weeks ago you may remember that some of our budding Rugby League players made the trip to Halifax RLFC and had a fantastic, if somewhat unexpected, day at the MBi Shay Stadium.

On that day the boys were very kindly given tickets to a Championship game against Workington. The boys have attended today’s game and throughly enjoyed a hard fought win for “Fax” by 36 points to 32. It also gave the group (and Mr Lawrence) an opportunity to see how tough the game is!

The boys (and a star struck Mr Greenway) then met Halifax Captain Scott Murrell on the sidelines afterwards to analyse the performance..
