We’ve had a quieter week by New Bridge standards, everyone has been working very hard.
Letters have gone home to families inviting them to our coffee morning on Friday 23rd October, together with an updated Code of Practice for Parents and Visitors. Please take the time to read through the document as it contains lots of information that we hope will advise and support you.
Annual reviews are now in full swing and single conversations are being updated, as Graham explains in his latest blog here.
On Monday colleagues from other schools will be visiting New Bridge as part of the ‘Peer to Peer Review’ that we are taking part in and we are looking forward to showing them what our wonderful young people are achieving.
Year 13 and Year 14 students at the Learning Centre have now voted for their Student Council representatives and Year 12 are in the process of voting.
The ball hall at Hollinwood Academy is fully open now and all our young people are enjoying the fantastic facilities there. Our wheelchair football team are certainly taking full advantage of their new home training sessions.
A group of pupils and students from New Bridge and Hollinwood Academy spent a very interesting ‘Evening with Brian Cox’ last night at the Queen Elizabeth Hall and you can see some photos on our Facebook page here.
Have a lovely restful weekend!
